OMC Exhuast Flapper goes which way?

350 5.7 with y pipe I believe they go hinge up correct and the little rubber hinge things that the pin goes thru do they go from the outside of the y pipe pushed in or put them on the inside pushed out?

Ayuh,... They hang down, so's exhaust pushes 'em open,..
While a backwash of Water, pushes 'em Closed...

install flapper long side down... new rubber bushings with rubber sealant...two hinging holes at the top... lube the pin and push it though...that should do it... just installed some last week

put the rubber washer from inside and then hung your flapper the small size up and then put the pins from out side to reach the outside
