omc float gauge

Does anyone have the measurements for one of these? i would like to make sure that all my floats are correctly positioned?

I know that they should be parallel with the carb when turned upside down but how big should the gap be between the carb and the float?

look at the hinged side, then the other, i personally like just the slightest more space on the free side of the float. never use the measurement guide. after reassembly, connect a clean piece of hose to carb, carb right side up, you should be able to blow air thru the carb, upside down, no flow.
