does anyone no where i can find the gm part number for a valve cover gasket on a 84 omc 3.0

Napa P/N is FPG 17900 listed specifically for marine use. You can probably get away with an automotive valve cover gasket but I doubt the price is any different.. No real need to get an OEM valve cover gasket. From cork to rubber, I'v never had a leaker out of a properly torqued valve cover

OMC didn't re-number core engine parts - they just kept the GM part numbers, so the OMC numbers are GM numbers for your motor as you will see on the site, they directed customers to GM:

"3923468 GASKET, Valve cover. Order parts from local Chevrolet Dealer"
