Re: omc help

Hi Rinker Man,
First is this a Cobra unit? If so I think that it originally had a decal cover over it. If it's what I'm thinking you will have to pull the outdrive off to put it back on. The clip that it screws into may be laying there somewhere if it's there hold it in place with a pair of long nose pliers and screw the plug into it.
Not an easy job for such a little screw.

Re: omc help

There is a small metal bar app 1 1/2X 1 inch that is threaded, the screw fitted into a 2 piece concave washer. I repaired one that was only missing the washer, by pounding a flat stainless washer concave and using 5200 to seal. You could use 2 washers and oval head 5/16 screw and self locking nut. I think the drive will have to come off. The hole in the housing is for a motor flusher connector.
