OMC HP

I have seadrives 1.6 liter (1985) I one with a flat exhaust cover and one with a bubble exhaust cover back. What would the difference be? Also when I look in the books it seems hp on the V4's range 100-140 with basicly the same bore and stroke, where is the different hp coming from compression or carbs? thanks

The differences in hp typically comes from differences in porting, carburetion (jetting & venturi diameter) and exhaust tuning.<br /><br />Can you post the model numbers from both engines?<br /><br />-John
