OMC lower unit

Hello all my Name is Steve and I would like to know if I can replace my OMC165 lower unit with a OMC 175 lower unit can anyone give me some advise on this issue thanks

what years are these units ? have some pics ?

if they are older electric shifts , yes they will swap fine .

Actually - as long as the shift system (electric, hydro-mechanical or mechanical) is the same, they should swap fine.
