OMC Manuals

Hello to all, is there much of or any difference between original OMC manual for my '73 Johnson 50hp and the new ones from OMC/Bombadir? The original is half the price of new one....which one should I get?<br /><br /><br /> Thanks to all for the great info being posted here!!!<br /><br /><br /> BiggerD

Bombardier, and before them OMC, has outsourced it's manual printing to kencook.com for outboard 1996 and earlier. They furnish reprints of the original manual. Used, original manuals are usually sold far cheaper than reprints is all.

All the manuals you mention should be a copy of the original.I doubt Bombardier can supply one.Ken Cook is good,but some of their manuals are less than great copies.Ebay may have original manuals,usually with greasy fingerprints. <br />DHP
