Does anyone know where I can find a OMC mechanical Shift Cable for a Stringer 800. It is on a 1984 Celebrity.

any Evinrude dealer can get the original cable. They were out of stock for a while, but they are back in the parts system. They show as "limited availability" right now though.

I managed to round one up a used one in almost new condition with attached housing at a marine salvage dealer, $350.00 same part number as my old one, works great. Good luck hope you find one to get you up and ruunning.
