I have a 1978 Johnson V4 115 ob. I put a new seal on my trim cylinder and noticed it didn't seal in the middle of the cylinder. The cylinder sleeve has swelled and needs to be replaced. I was wondering if these are available anymore. Should I have it made at a machine shop or search for a junk unit for parts? Thanks for the help guys.
Shane,
East Peoria, IL

welcome aboard!
I would do some searching for a good servicable unit. You can replace the tilt cylinder for about 1/8th the cost of a rebuilt TNT.
