I could not get my outdrive to lift. (OMC Cobra w 350 engine on 1989 Winner 19') I was low on power steering fluid (are the two related?) I now have air in the hydraulic line and need to refill. I don't know where to refill or how to bleed out the air. I have refilled the power steering fluid assuming the trim uses that same fluid.

Tilt or trim??
I have a Stringer, but the tilt raises the outdrive up for towing. Trim just trims the boat for performance while on the water.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... Somewhere on yer transom is the trim pump, an electric motor, with oil lines comin' out of it,....

Fill That with Atf, the P/S is a completely different system,.....

I had the same issue. It was the solenoid on top of the engine. I had to keep a screw driver with me for a couple weeks until the new one came in. Just basically touch the screw driver to both big terminals and it will come up. Obviously a temp fix to get your drive up.
