Which brand of manual is the best for a 1987 OMC(Ford) 2.3L The only two I have seen are the Seloc manual and Clymer manual. Which one would you all prefer and why? Thanks in advance( once again)

'mornin toby,

if you're going to get one-or-the-other, my limmited experience would suggest getting the Seloc. i've got both brands for a series of mercs and some omc's. my personal opinion is that the Seloc is a bit more detailed then the Clymers.

take this with the appropriate "grain-of-salt" as i have neither for any outdrives, just for outboards.

you might want to look at kencook.com. this is the authorized distributor/printer for old omc manuals. he may have a book specific to your needs.

Good Luck

I prefer clymer. They speak in more plain terms. Easy to follow. Look on E-bay.
