OMC rolling idle

engine model #58FAPRJV 1993 Chriscraft <br /><br />engine has a rolling idle that has eluded my mechanic for two months. all electronic tests are ok. latest replacement was a fuel regulator. <br />next is a MAP (whatever that is) he has had four "experts" look at the engine and they can not figure it out. $800 computer chip may or may not work. HELP!!!

how is the second red wire to battery hooked this is the KAM keep alive memory wire. it can not piggy back the big battery wire it must be rotated away from battery cable. or RFI interference will keep zapping the learned memory of the computer. so this means if the wire is wrong every time you start the engine the RFI is high and your KAM wire picks it up and resets the computer and it will have to re learn after each start up.
