I recently purchased a 76 cruisers bar harbor with an OMC 235. I am in the process of undoing 20 years of neglect and quick fixes. For what ever reason someone completely removed the select trim system from it, aside from the switch in the dash and the trim gage.
I purchased an entire system locally and in the process of installing it. My question is what to fill the hydraulic system with, my repair manual says engine oil but the system I bought seems to have ATF in it. I am thinking of sticking with the ATF what are some thoughts?
