omc selectrim system...whats it worth?

Hi...I have an OMC selectrim system off a 77 235 hp I/O. Hydraulicaly lifts front of the motor up and down. Works perfect, anyone know if it's worth anything? Just curious...

Stick it on e bay and find out. It's worth what someone will pay for it.

Will probably do that....I can't seem to find one of this type on ebay or anywhere else. It includes the 2 mounts joined together by a metal crossbar, solenoids, lines and motor,etc. Am I right in calling it selectrim? <br />Thanks

I think selectrim is right, I'd have to look it up and Im sittin down and aint gettin up for awhile. Those are one of those things ya have sittin in the shop for years you hate to throw it out and one day you finally do and sure enough somebody calls the next day looking for one.

I've got one of those on my boat and so does my father-in-law. Mine works, his does'nt. We are a little north of you (Canada) which would complicate purchase, but who knows there could be a market for that there gizmo you have. No ideas re:$$$ though. throw a number back at us!

I've got 1 of those out in the shop..... <br />Still got a complete, supposedly good running, 351W setting in it........<br />Don't Know if it works... Just Yanked the Whole Driveline out of my New boat,+ set it in the back......<br />I'll be watching this thread to see what I've got.....<br /><br />Going back together with a SBC/Mercruiser.....

Thanks for the response fellows. I haven't decided what to do with it. Sure as shootin, if I get rid of it, I'll wish I hadn't. Ihave a '77 24 ft. Wellcraft that needs repowering, this could be in it's future. Thanks again for the tips!
