OMC shift assist fix update

Now I'm really confused. Got an email from Mike Weller who is with go2marine. He says the CDI/Repair module 123-8989-P needs to have the diode/resister fix if it is being used with electronic ignition. Hmmmm!

Sorry, I know you depend on him to be a pro and know it all, but he is wrong.<br /><br />Go to Rapair dot com and see for your self. That's what the "P" stands for... PERTRONIX!<br /><br />Mr Will and I gave you the place to order it from in the other post.
