Can someone that has worked on one of theses help me.<br />I have a 1991 4.3 omc cobra.Have many hours of testing and asking question I have determined my ignition sensor is bad.It starts fine runs good till let it sit awhile then won't start.Crank and crank then all the sudden will start. We have determined that it loses the coil in sensor to find number one cylinder on start up.So I bought a new sensor.I have 2 manuals on this thing and it just says re install it.My question is how do you adjust it,it will slide up and down on bolts.I sure don't want the disk hitting the sensor as it passes thru them.Beings the sensor is mounted on bellhousing you have to nearly stand on your head to get to it.Anyone with any ideas?

Sorry Phil...haven't touched one of those and the procedure in my Clymers book basically says to remove and replace, the diagram looks like there is no adjustment.

It has about a 1/4 of inch that it can slide up or down. That is the same thing I read in the Clymers book, doesn't give you any insite. There must be some procedure that someone has run across.
