Howdy,<br />I've got a chance to buy a used (1995) ss170 OMC sunbird, 6 Cyl I/O with volvo penta <br />Cobra outdrive. Any thoughts from anyone? Very lo hours overall.<br />aj
Volvo did produce an OMC/volvo drive. <br />Just have the Cobra on my boat so I cant't help there. If Volvo made it, at least you will still be able to buy parts for it. <br /><br />When the parts are all gone for the other OMC Cobra drives, the rumor is that there won't be any spares made in the future by Bombadier.
i hope your wrong mike. but with the thousands of cobras out there i find it hard to believe that bombadier would just give up on making cobra parts. if they do that's just plain lousy.
