I've been having a problem where my boat only revs up to 5k. But now I remembered that a while back I was messing around with the wiring under the console checking the lights and stuff and might of turned something on the tach. Does this tack have different settings for RPM range? The reason why I'm asking is....my boat is a 20' Dusky With a 2 stroke 150. It's maxing out around 40mph. I know Dusky makes one of the heaviest boat hulls and I put a t-top on last christmas( more drag). So I'm thinking the engine is reving fine. I just have the tach set wrong. Oh the reason I know the speed is my gps.<br /><br />Here's a pic of the tach just so we're talking about the same thing.
