Does anyone know if a tilt –trim from a 3 or 4 cylinder rude will fit a 1985 50 HP rude. The 50 is a 2 cylinder. The seller stated that it fits 3 and 4 cylinders. If so what's the difference?

Darnded if that don't make two of us.I think your 2 cylinder is designed alot lighter than the bigger ones. And the mounting position on a 50 is a lot smaller than on a 3 or 4 cylinder. But if you could retro fit it,you'd have a bullet proof setup.

DHP

The Power TT on a 3 or 4 cyl snugs up inside the engine mounting frame (on the transom) with six bolts, 3 coming in from each side going thru the frame into the TT unit. Unless the one you're looking at is a six-bolter, don't bother. Also don't think the space under a 50 is anywhere near as large as under a 3 or 4 cylinder (60 hp up to 115).

Thanks, this one looks like it fits totally under the engine itself.
