OMC Timing Question...

I want to check out the timeing on my OMC 3.0L and the manual I ordered won't be here for another week or so. Could someone tell me which cylinder is the #1 cylinder. My guess is the first one on the "mag" side (water pump) and not the pto side...

Have no idea what you mean by mag and pto side. That isn't boat talk. But the cylinder on the front of the engine is #1

Sorry... mag and pto are JetSKi lingo... magnito side (front) and power take off (out drive)... Thanks for the info..
