Broken hose, leaky cylinder. That reservoier had to get empty somhow.
Could also be a faulty pump or a cylinder bypassing internally, but that wouldn't explain the low reservoir.
If drive is up, stand/jump on it and see if it's just stuck.

Are you sure you got all the air bled out of the system? Even a little air can give you grief. Or like DonS said, the pump could be bad. Connection to motor shaft strpped maybe? Just a thought.

Re: OMC Trim Problem

:/ This all happened when my riser clogged and blew both rubber hoses and my intermittent pipe, water, steam, melted rubber, and exhaust everywhere, on same side as trim motor. Repaired that and then found out this...Did quick check and found out resevior was empty or at its lowest level!
:/ Motor turns up and down but no action, I can lower and raise drive by hand and no oil anywhere.
By the way I am a Retired Marine Amercian living in Europe and this all happened in the Baltic ocean, was towed in to harbor by a kind boater....
It is so expensive to get parts, so I order from oregon...is there any online Tilt/trim manual i can look at?
