OMC Trim pump questions...

I purchased a "Trim pump/Tilt" motor. When i looked at my setup its different. My hydrolic pump is baby blue and the motor is more of a cap with a rotor inside. Looks like this.

What do i replace this with? I purchased something that looks like this....

I need your help to get this up for summer!

You purchased the wrong motor but the new one that you got is the one i need lol i just pulled my old one off yesterday and it was seized

Well, i think this will replace the motor that lifts my out drive right? im 99% sure

What is the correct item I need?

You're looking for the selectrim pump... Part number 982957 I think

do you need the hydraulic pump, or the motor for the pump? they aren't generally sold together.
pm me if interested in a good used unit.

if you just need the motor, GMC's number looks like the right thing. new probably the way to go for just the motor

Motor brushes and commutator are warn after 30 years
