OMC trim

I have a 1974 85HP Johnson that I have running like a champ thanks to this website! I have a chance to buy an OMC trim unit off of a 1979 85HP Johnson. Does anyone know if it would be compatible with mine?

You would need a small atomic bomb to make it fit.----In other words no it will not.
