(1973 wes craft 19', 307 chev, omc sw-131e outdrive)<br />last weekend went out for first trip to the lake of the year.<br />ran motor 5-10 mins no problem then ran it 20 mins. motor/outdrive went bang, motor stopped wont turn over had to be towed back to ramp.<br /><br />got it home removed the out drive, motor turns over runs fine.<br /><br />out drive locked up cant turn coupler<br />prop turns free, oil still in unit<br /><br />does it sound like the outdrive is cooked?<br />is there anything easy to check to verify this.<br />is it worth repairing?<br /><br />thanks in advance<br /><br />russman
