Please note that the PICTURE UPLOAD function is not working. The iBoats Forum Moderators are working with the system administration folks at the parent company to get the issue resolved. one of the boats I am looking at has OMC, i did a search for the definition of OMC but could not find one in this forum...some more help for the newbie plz.
The,now defunct, "Outboard Marine Corporation"... Johnson-Evinrude=OMC.. <br /><br />OMC went belly up and was bought out by Bombardier who are the same people who make Seadoo jet skis, Skidoo snowmobiles, and Lear Jets...
you can still get parts for them.. <br />and there is probably more OMC motors out there then any other...<br /><br />its as safe to buy an OMC as any other..<br /><br />rgds<br /><br />franki
