Onboard cooler drain is clogged.

I have an onboard cooler built into my swim platform and it is clogged. I can't access the hose from the interior -

Are there any tricks anyone has to remove the clog w/o damaging it?

Try string trimmer line -- the heavier type. Heat the end of the line with a match so a nice round blob is formed. Push it through the drain.

I've used both a pressure washer and compressed air to clear drains.

Try an electricians snake/wire puller. The are flexable, but you can still push them through small openings or conduit. Once through you can feed a piece of cloth in the end like you would cleaning a gun and clean out the hose as you pull it back through.

I agree, this is the sturdiest way without a sharp edge to break your tube, the cloth on the return is a great idea as well.

I have a trained pet worm that will go down the drain and eat away whatever is blocking the tube.

Ayuh,...

Usually a Blast of compressed Air,.. Backwards is enough to clear the line...

After months of it still being clogged and trying to wire fish as well as numerous other options available at the house, I just shot the garden hose thru it and held it there - Lots of black crud came out, nothing in 'clog' form but it appears to be draining again. It was beginning to make me very angry. Aside from being soaked from the overspray, its all good now.
