So right now I have 1 starter battery. Basic 24 volt starter battery. my question is can I get away with just this, or do i need a deep cycle one as well. The only accessories right now are; bow and anchor lights. interior lights, gauges and a few electronics such as radio and fishfinder.

Is it 24, or did you mean 12v?

Either way, with what you have, you will be fine. If you plan on fishing for a long time, you may want to throw another $50 into one of those Jumper battery kits (plastic with jumper cables coming out)

If you get a trolling motor or a serious amp, you would wnat to consider a second battery.
