Can I run my fish finder and my trolling motor off the same battery? Or will using the trolling motor while the fish finder is on effect the voltage?

Good question - I always assumed that you could, much like a car battery.

What FF and what trolling motor?

I had trouble with a Minn Kota 46lb making noise on my fishfinder. Had to load the d-cells in my portable unit to run both at once.
