One Moment In Time....

For one moment in time, one snapshot in my life, all is well.
With the economy, I had been out of work for a long time, but that situation has changed.

We, the east coast, have been pounded all week by old man winter. The shop that I am working for, closed up on Weds and we go back to work Tues.

Since Weds, I have taken the kids sledding and snowboarding several times. My mother in law has come by for an extended visit.

Right now, Wife , Daughter and MIL have gone out shopping for the day. All four saints (dogs) are sound asleep, not causing a ruckus. Both wood stoves are stoked and hot. My boys are out in the barn, plinkin cans with their Red Ryders. Me? I just ate a Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich and a double cheese burger, and I just cracked an ice cold Bud. Damn that tastes good.

Oh Yeah, I remembered. I think my reward is quit house for the day.


Now if I can find a classic, like Jeremiah Johnson or Death Hunt or Butch C and Sun D Kid, or even Outlaw Josey Wales.......

The wife was napping so I had lunch.

Two fried spamwiches with mustard and miracle whip followed by three still warm from the oven choco chip cookies and a glass of COLD milk.

Now I feel a nap coming.
