hey guys i ask a qustion 2weeksago about my fuel pump for 85 120 v4 m#e120tlco i just wanted to make sure it was the pump i replaced all fuel lines and ball and made sure the fuel pick up was ok i still pump the ball it dose not get hard nor dose moter keep runing unles i keep pumping the ball iasume its the pump right??? now there are 4 wires purpule tan black and gray no alarm whats up with that i was told there was a vro 2 wire vro2 with 4 wire with alarm please help before i buy new one thanks :rolleyes: :confused:

mo-jo,If you can't get the primer bulb to firm up you either have a leak on the fuel line between the primer bulb and the carburetors , one or more of the carburetor float valves are not seating,or the vro pump itself is leaking externally.The fact that you have to continue to sqieeze the bulb to keep engine running may either be because of a fuel line leak allowing air to be sucked in or you also have a failing fuel pump.Before replacing vro pump ,insure that the pulse hose that actuates the vro pump diaphrgm is secure from the crankcase to the nipple on the vro diaphragm housing.Also check the pulse hose for any cracks or holes.

i dont believe your motor has the wiring for the VRO 2 with the 4 wires. (or even the 3 wires)<br />but you can get a wiring adapter to run the wiring for the pump.

thanks for your reply yes i checked all lines not only that i change all lines to carbs when running it runs great while running i took off fuel line off that go to carbs ( on the pump ) no fuel was coming out .and as for wires i have four with no alarm
