Well i've done about all i know to do to this motor to get it running right but it refuses. I have recently did away with the vro and went with a electric fuel pump and premix. It runs the same as it did when i had the vro on it. It still lean sneezes despite having the idle screws run out about two to two and a half turns out of spec. Its almost starting to run rough now i suspect the screws have it running rich now. Anyway spark is good, compression is good, brand new stator, new coil packs and wires. No obvious fuel leaks and the fuel pump isn't the problem. What else in the world could it be. Vent on gas tank is open. I have went through the carbs also. Went step for step with the manual. Motor doesn't run diferent with motor tilted so floats i rule out. Possible gasket leak on manifolds? Fuel rails have no gas or oily residue on them and i checked the o-rings. I have a new power pack also. Could a recirculate valve be clogged if so how do you check it. Man i'am all ears.

Motor also stalling still out of the hole. Having to feather the gas to get it up on plane exactly like it ran awhile ago. Another thing i'am scrubbing some rpm about three hundred i'am normally wot at 5600 i'am around 5200 but when i first took off today it ran at 5500 until i got to my first stop. Motor seems to have a flat spot in it or it just sounds like its running flat at high speed. Link and sync? It accures pretty much at the same time. It doesn't sit right up on the detent tab but it still occures at about the same time.

electric fuel pump could very well be your problem.

It runs the same as when it had to the oms or vro whatever that thing is on it. The primer valve is still on there. It almost seems like vaccum or something out of wack with the carbs. Its just about laughable. I could put the vro back on but what is the point in doing that it won't fix it. I'd rather mix my oil and not have that ticking time bomb on there. I'am about 100% sure its not a fuel delivery problem.
