I purchased my 20' 1980 Mako about 6 months ago and the previous owner repowered it with a 140 Suzuki 4-Stroke. Under WOT, I can only hit about 34MPH, is this accurate? I figured it would be able to do in the 40s under WOT... Any suggestions?
Please get us the max rpm and speed and the max rated rpm.
in the mean time check that the throttle opens all the way and that all cylinders are working.
