Opinion on Volvoenta B21 engines please

I was wondering if any Volvo experts out there could give me a opinion on the B21 model

What do you want to know?
The B21 is actually the engine block used for several of the older AQ series engine.
I believe it was used on the 125A, 145A and (Updated from info below - 131 series is a B23)

Anyway in short these engines of course are pretty old and old technology. But they are relatively easy to work on and supposedly very solid as long as you don's abuse them.

This all the information I have on it Allan. Old gear I know. Its used boat looks good for the price. 7000 Aussie. You could all ways spend more I know but it's around the money I want to spend. Great hull by the looks.

The AQ131 is actually a B23 engine. For what it's worth, I'm rebuilding (read dropping money into) my AQ131A and have every confidence that it will last a good long while with good care. I've read that the B21 engines are even tougher.

Go to: Bayliner Owners Club - Home and find "the vault forum". Lots of good information and history on these engines.
