Just wondering what kind of build quality to expect with a 31ft celebrity 310 i found one going for 21k with a trailer and was wondering if it was worth looking at. Im already going to look at a 1996 searay 290 just wanted options since im driving 4 hours lol.

Anything is worth a look, but the SeaRay might be your better bet. Isn't Celebrity OOB ?

Fred Claxton started Celebrity boats in 1977. He left in 1991 and started Crownline boats. In 1995, Celebrity boats was purchased by Bombardier. They are no longer in production.

If you are in the area, it's definitely worth a look.

I'm not familiar with them but would have preferred before the buy out by Bombardier. I believe the '91 Sea Ray 29' falls in the known problem size and dates (ending in '02 or '03).

Mercy. That is a whole lotta boat. I'm assuming that's Lake Winnebago since the terrain doesn't really look right for Lake Michigan, which is the only other lake in the general area big enough to use it. Be fun to hear those twin 540s angry.

Unless you have experience give some thought on what it takes to pull either rig down the road. I had a 28'er and pulling it scared the crap out of me. Tow vehicle and trailer brakes are essential - even so - - -
