Optimax 175 Fuel Filter

Contaminated fuel, need to clean out fuel filter. Can't find accurate reference publication. Which is the Fuel Filter in the picture?
Cleaned out water separator, it was 60% H2O (see pic).
Line also seems to be clogged. Fuel ball won't get full, and the ball was just replaced (it worked initially).
I have someone coming over to clean out the tank and lines, but that is all he does. Filter is up to me.
Pubs I have found do not show filters like this pic.
Purchased the boat used, about 6 months ago. Have always kept the tank full. Ran perfect. Now that I let it run down to 1/4 tank, motor still runs great, but I get the water in fuel alarm. 4 beeps every 2 minutes, repeat.

Found it. Looked at the Crowley diagrams. Now if I can just get that filter removed.

On my neighbors Optimax, it was an orange can shaped filter. Yours looks to be silver. It had a water sensor on the bottom, which you need to unplug. The filter then unscrews like an oil filter or water separator filter. The only issue was to find a wrench that would fit the filter, and the small space around it.

Hi Chris, Thank you. I got it removed, after trying a few tools. It contained bad fuel as well.
