Hi everyone,
I have a question about my mercury optimax's.. I have a boat with dual mercury optimax 150's... when I start the one on the left side it beeps one long and three shorter beeps. (the one on the right just beeps one short and seems to be without problems..) This continues to happen at idle or at cruising speeds about every 5min... I talked to a guy who said he went to marine mechanic's school and said the long beep means 10 and the 3 following means its a repair code 13... before I take my boat out of the water and to the marina I was wondering if anyone know what this means.... the oil and oil flow seem to be great... the engine does stall on the first start only... ANY SUGGESTIONS OR IDEA'S WOULD BE WELCOMED>.. Thanks for taking the time to help!!
