Greetings everyone,
Does ANYONE have an idea where I can find a mating plug? I've tried Optronics, Tracker Marine, Bass Pro, Cabellis, local RV places, and auto stores.

Trying to help the most generous guy, neighbor in the whole world. He purchased a nice Optronics LED taillight, (model OPT STL 0066 RPG) the wires from the tail light end in a molded plug. It's a triangular shape, 3 pin connector. I don't want to simply cut it off.
This model light has a "P" (for plug) in the model number, not a "B". They were made per request of Tracker Marine. Tracker apparently had a wiring harness that had the matching plug. Just plug the 2 molded plugs together. Awesome for swapping one out (accident, etc.).
Can't find the matching part. I know it was created as part of (or for) the trailer wiring harness, but SOMEONE must have them.
Local boatyards, nope.
Thanks SO much!!!

You just described 50 different connectors. Can’t identify w/o a picture but most likely and off the shelf part at digikey

Probably a good change the connector Is crimped as well

custom molded plug. many wiring harness manufacturers that mold trailer plugs can mold that.

I would cut it off myself

Scott... thanks very much!
Well, I wish I knew WHICH one made them. They prob have boxes & boxes.
But really a great idea - tail light gets wrecked, simply unplug, plug in a new one, off u go!
Digi actually just responded to my email (thanks dingbat) stated they were the standard bullet connectors, but did not have the 3, triangular configuration.
I also did try automotive bullet & female connectors, but were extremely loose, or tight.
Thanks folks!

Start googling 3-prong trailer wiring plugs.

If it was me, non insulated butt connectors and epoxy lined heat shrink tubing and I would be done in 5 minutes

Shorelandr trailer uses these. The wiring harness is 5110590. Maybe contact shorelander directly to see if they can supply just the 3 pin pig tails.
