After much debate, I just ordered a Mercury 430 OceanRunner RIB (PVC) and a 20 HP Tohatsu motor. Now I'm gonna need to get a trailer, some small odds/ends and I will be ready to go.

Any advice or suggestions....fire away.

How much do You think I will have to spend to get a suitable trailer?

Test that combo with a well ballanced rib, well trimed to have engine paralell to water level and at full plane (3/4 throttle or wot) check you don't have rear transom water splashes or excessive prop aireation/cavitation. That horse must be very well height seated to get the max out of that nice combo. Have fun, a rib is the way to go if you've made your boating kindergarten with a sib...

Congrats on the purchase! If it's your first boat a safety course. (number of decent ones on line or USCGA in person) Other than that just the usual PFD'S, Lines, charts etc. (if you plan to take it anywhere)

Most important just enjoy...
