I have built a new plywood transom using 2 coats of Bondo Fiberglass Resin(no fiberglass fibers),the resin has hardened
and I want to paint over the resin,what type of paint should I use and how do I prep the resin for paint?
The resin will likely start to crack . Poly resin needs the cloth to bind it together . Epoxy resin doesn't ..
So I would lay up a layer of csm on it before paint .. Regular Rusto Enamel primer and paint will work or you can go with more expensive paints if you want .
