Our Home Made Boat

My son and I built a boat from scratch. Wewanted a small two man boat to fish ponds and small steams with. After looking around and seeing what was available none of the factory made jobs impressed us. We decided it would be fun to build and a great way to get in some some good time together. We decided on a jon boat type theme. Neither one of us really had an inkling of what we were doing when we started so it was a learn as you go project. The final product though beat all expectations. We have had numerous compliments on the boat and it never fails to turn heads where ever we go.
