Out drive identification

Hello all, I just picked up a 2000 23' wellcraft Excalibur w/7.4 MPI. I know its a bravo 1 or 2 but trying to figure out which one. I found the serial number but can't make out the first couple of digits. It looks like L749152 or 2749152. Thanks for any help.

Bravo one has the smaller lower gearcase, Bravo 2 has a bigger gearcase. The Bravo one can only accommodate a maximum propeller diameter of 16", Bravo 2 will take a 20" diameter prop....

If in doubt, post a photo of the drive...

Also.. that serial number (0L749152) is the number from the transom housing, not the drive...

Chris, The system I use shows it to be a MERCRUISER PERFORMANCE DRIVE BRAVO 1 1.50:1
MERCRUISER - (BRAVO 1 H.P. (1998)
Serial No: 0L749152 Model No: 5C31200LS

Thank you for the info. The prop is a four bladed stainless with these numbers stamped into it. (6006 21)

Sounds like you have a 21 pitch quicksilver-typhoon-stainless-steel-propeller.
