Outboard engine housing rubber seal.

Can’t seem to find the lower engine cover rubber seal for this Johnson 40 super Seahorse
Model # RD-25
I thought I had found some on marineengine.com but they aren’t in stock.
I also wondered if it was one piece or two??

I have heard of some people taking the weather stripping out of the trunk of an old car.. Or a rubber hose slit carefully... Or you can try at nymarine.ca...

two-piece. Can improvise while looking for a "proper" replacement. Check nymarine, like hardwater suggests.

Been some years now, but you might also check American Outboards on the eastern shore in Maryland.
