outboard vs trolling motor

This may sound like a dumb question, but, is there a comparison chart, or somthing like that, that compares lbs of thrust on a trolling motor to the hp rating on an outboard motor. For example: I have a 42 lb thrust minnkota trolling motor; would this compare to a 3 or 4 hp outboard?<br /><br />trp251

Thanks Bear, that's just what I needed to know. I'm looking to find an outboard for my 14' v bottom boat and was trying to compare how my trolling motor moved my boat accross the water to determine what outboard hp I might want.<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Trp251
