outdrive/foot lube reservoir??

would my 84 boat with a mercruiser 260hp engine have this reservoir they mention in this video?

No, it may have a reservoir, there were round ones installed as an option that had a hose goiing to the vent plug on the upper of the drive. If you don't have a hose there, you don't have the reservoir.
The one in the Video is for a Gen II drive from 93??? (not going to look it up right now) and newer with the fittings thru the transom shield
