Outdrive help needed with parts.

Hello everyone,

Need a little help with making sure i order the correct parts for my outdrive.

I am looking at changing the gimble bearing, both boots and would like the part number for the CV joint as well just in case.

I know this is a Volvo SX drive as per Don

You shouldn't need the who ujoint assembly, only the ujoints them selves. http://forums.iboats.com/mercruiser-i-o-inboard-engines-outdrives/u-joint-part-number-238091.html


You can find the OEM part numbers in the link below. Just look up your engine model number.

I see you can purchase a kit for this, 18-2771, would this be the correct one to purchase.
Also should I purchase a new retainer boot ring?

So for the U-Joint just look up one following and I should be good to go.
