You might want to purchase a manual for your engine. It should cover replacing the ball gears. <br /><br /> If new ball gears are too expensive..you should be able to take your old ones to a machine shop and get them repaired.<---this will depend how badly they are worn.<br /><br />Always have your out drive in the Full down position when operating.<br /><br />TMD
