Outdrive Speed signal clean

How do you clean out debris from the speed signal port in the lower unit. Do I run a drill bit into. If so how far. Will damage it. Thanks. Shawn

Easier to answer is we knew what drive

When mine packed in with vegetation, I pulled the line off the speedometer an attached my air compressor with the pressure turned down to 5-10 psi. Using a small drill bit, maybe 1/8", hand turned it until the plug blew out.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... Is that a standard Alpha drive, or a standard Bravo drive,..??
