Outdrive water hose diameter

I`ve got to make a temporary hose repair on my SX-A drive this weekend until I can get a part. Does anybody know what the diameter is of the cooling water hose that leads into the transom shield from the pivot housing. My water nipple broke off, going to try to insert a small section of pipe to get my boat to the ramp.

Ayuh,..... That's got the motor mounted raw water pump, Right,..??

If so, that nipple area will already be underwater at rest 'n at idle speeds,....
So long as that hole is clear, it oughta run to the ramp just fine, as is,....
At idle speeds of course,....

Otherwise, I'll guess it's 3/4",.....
