whikelI was looking over the 50hp force cylinder head I see this sensor with a lead to the wiring buss labeled heat.

is this a buzzer or ignition kill or what?

I assume its function is to prevent damage when overheated but how does it accomplish that?

thanks!

Ozark the overheat sensor fires off the alarm horn on overheating.....its the job of the nut behind the wheel to prevent the damage.....
