over heating

i have a 1980 v6 150hp johnson i put in new thermostat last week just to have new ones ran good 2 times out but on my way in at idle the horn blue one side was mush hotter then the other the pee hole was working fine ????

deflectors? trash in tstat? check compression on all 6.
